Great Chieftain o' the Puddin' Race (Apron)
A thick navy 10oz cotton half panama apron in bottle green with a line from Robert Burn's famous poem 'Address to a Haggis' in crisp white print.
The aprons are all hand stitched, made in the UK and hand screen printed in Glasgow.
Burn's poem, is traditionally read at the start of a Burns supper before the host cuts the haggis with a dagger.
The Poem starts:
Fair fa' your honest, sonsie face,
Great chieftain o' the puddin' race!
Aboon them a' yet tak your place,
The lion on the print represents the Lion Rampant of Scotland, the Scottish banner historically used by the King of Scots.
Approx 90cm x 60cm with 60cm long ties at the rear.
