This was a great idea from one of our customers looking to make up a pack of goodies as a First Foot New Year. gift.
First Footing is still pretty common across Scotland but varies from place to place as part of the Hogmanay Celebrations. A first foot is the first person to enter the home on New Year's Day and is seen as a bringer of good fortune for the coming year. Traditionally they would be dark haired and come bearing symbolic gifts to bring joy and prosperity to the household for the New Year.
We so loved working with our customer on what would be good in the pack and the pack turned out so well that we have decided to offer a limited run of them to everyone. There are also big savings to be made as we have added a couple of extra things to each bundle.
There are two different sized packs a 'WEE' and a 'STANDARD'.

Tote: This is a thick high quality gusseted canvas shopper bag hand stitched, made in the British Isles and hand screen printed in Glasgow. The bag measures approximately 36cm in length and 28cm wide with a 5.5cm deep gusset and 10cm short strap handles. 10oz Cotton half panama.
Calendar: Cover 300gsm high quality Arco paper, pages 160gsm Arco paper. Digital printed. While great prints for the calendar the images are not reproduced here to the same individual high quality as the giclee archival art prints we also make. 14.8cm x 42xcm with wirebinding and hanging loop above.
Card: 300gsm, FSC credited paper stock. With a light satin coating on the outside, the inside is left uncoated, making it easier for you to write your own message. Each card is individually scored, ensuring a clean fold and comes with a simple 100% recycled brown envelope. Dimensions: 15.4 x 11 cm
Notebook: Hardbacked A6 notebook with 96 pages of lined 100gsm cream paper and ribbon marker. Dimensions: 14.8cm x 10.5cm
